Is their a way to check to find out if a dealership even had a allocation for my TRX.
I'm asking this because the dealer I ordered from said they had one . but my order from 9/3 has only a VON.
And several others on here that ordered 2 months after have VIN's Can anyone here explain this ?

Unfortunately you just have to trust the dealer at their word they have an allocation. And at this point I personally wouldn't trust any dealer unless they had a dealer order with a VIN that fit the build specs you want on your truck because there are people reporting that their orders with a VON and no VIN have been canceled by FCA assuming because they have already assigned as many VINs as they think they can make for the 2021 model year......

Purely speculation and I hope I'm wrong but I have a feeling that they won't even build all the TRXs that already have VINs

Hell there are builds canceled with VINs issued but like Brad said, you have no idea if they have an allocation or not. It's a safe bet now 3 months later they either didn't have an allocation or your order is dealer stock on the POC.

As far as getting VIN's, I've seen several get one ordering in October, could be dealer size, sales volume, that contributed to that. Just one big mess

Give FCA chat you VON and they will be able to tell you of your dealer has an allocation or if they are waiting on one. They told me when I asked them
