yes it does include wiring and lights , i assumed so.Does that include wiring all the lights? It definitely takes some time, and usually two people for some of it.
Very reasonable. ADD says it takes 2 hours to remove/install the front, and then 2 more hours for lights. The reality is that it's an all day affair to get it mounted and wired (if you are doing a clean install job with wire loom, etc.). Taking off the factory sensors and harness, and then installing them in the bumper takes a good amount of time since the dang sensors don't fit in the holes on the Bomber correctly. It always requires RTV or something similar to get them to stay in place. Figure most shop rates are $125-$150/hr., and you can see where $850 comes from. As @HighHP said, achieving the 4 hours total install time isn't realistic unless everything was literally ready to go at your fingertips, and 2 guys were working on it at the same time.if y’all didn’t install this bumper yourself how much were y’all quoted? i was quoted 850$ seems a little high but i’m still gonna take it .
I don't get it. It takes 20 minutes max to take off the stock front bumper. I have never installed an ADD but it couldn't be much more difficult to install than the stock so another 20 minutes? That gives you >3 hours to do the lights and sensors.Very reasonable. ADD says it takes 2 hours to remove/install the front, and then 2 more hours for lights. I don't have one. I can take my stock off and put it back on at 20 minutes each, as I have done it twiceGo try it and report back!
LOL...that is highly likely...From the packaging alone it seemed to me it would take 15 minutes just to un box it and take all the wrapping off.
I agree. Every step is short in duration and easy to do. There are just many many little steps. Wiring always takes way longer than saying "run a couple of wires".I don't get it. The local 4x4 shop here charges $75 per shop hour so I think it could be way less expensive for installation depending on where you go.
most trusted offroad shops for me would be 4wheelparts or offroadwherhouseif y’all didn’t install this bumper yourself how much were y’all quoted? i was quoted 850$ seems a little high but i’m still gonna take it .
They clearly didn’t do that and how they couldn’t fix it,they blamed it on the add bumper that this happens often with new trucks and steel bumpers the sensors be acting up I know it’s bullshit 🤦🏻♂️You've got to mark the front sensors. Use a sharpie and mark 12 o'clock, so you put them back in as they were in the factory bumper. They call this out many times in the instructions. Use RTV glue to lock them in place when done.
Yep. Just mark 12 with a dot. Easy! They clearly didn’t do that and how they couldn’t fix it,they blamed it on the add bumper that this happens often with new trucks and steel bumpers the sensors be acting up I know it’s bullshit 🤦🏻♂️
