Hello,

Need some help/advice on this. I’m currently running the 1.5 eibach springs to bring up the rear due to the extra weight from the topper and gear inside. The rear seats at 41”. I want to bring it up another 1” at least or even .75.

After the eibach settled its actually seating like stock. Seems like it only gained around 3/4 of the lift. When I load it up with the family and the extra gear it starts to go to the squat look.(reason why I have installed the 1.6 front springs yet; don’t want to blind other drivers when fully loaded).

Would you recommend air bags or adding a spacer with upgraded bump stop shock.

I read somewhere on here that air bags leaks after a while?

Thank you in advance for any help!

My .02 cents. Adding air bags will allow you to manage your ride height based on your load the best, but at the overall cost of ride comfort. The suspension is going to be significantly stiffer with Bags. I personally am running a set on my 3500 and have never had problems with leaks. If installed correctly they are pretty much maintenance free. Hope this helps.

I just put on the timber grove bags bc I have the leer midrise top and don't want to sag. I keep 10lbs in them when not hauling anything and there's no change in the ride quality. Not a bad install if you can do your own mods. I also added the airlift system I had removed from my old 1500 so I can adjust as needed.

I just installed Timbergrove bags yesterday, took about an hour even with zip tying the airlines all nice and pretty. No major change in ride that I’ve noticed. I do have Foutz leveling collars on the front that have been on the truck for the last 25k miles. I’ll be towing my new tritoon here shortly which will really put the bags to the test.
