1. Seeing as the TRX is full time 4x4, what's the difference from 4 auto to 4 hi?
Auto 4x4, to me, would suggest that it defaults to 2wd and engages to 4wd when necessary.

2. When you use the truck in launch mode, (haven't done so yet - break-in period) does the drive mode switch to sport mode or any other mode? Or, does launch Mode become its own unique drive mode?
Also, I assume you can choose to keep it in auto or opt to use the paddles during a launch?
In auto, do the shifts occur at redline?

3. When you see these videos of the truck performing donuts in the sand, would you say that it's in auto? Or, is it locked into a specific gear.(2nd?)

1. 4 auto sends initial power to the wheels in a ratio determined by the "mode" you are in sport being a split of 70/30 rear/front snow 55/45 rock 50/50 then while driving if it detects slipping it takes power out of the wheels that are slipping. 4hi is just "normal" 4wd 50/50 split

2. Launch mode requires 4 auto flat level ground and the wheel to be perfectly straight to be engaged. It can be in any mode except rock (and maybe snow not sure on that one) You can keep the truck in auto and never use the paddle shifters in all modes including launch control and the truck redline shifts any time the accelerator is pressed to the floor in any mode whether you were just cruising in 7th gear at 40 mph (it will downshift then proceed to redline shift through the gears) or you launch it from a stop

3. the donuts in the sand or mud are done in baja mode 4 auto second gear

I assume that all other drive modes are disabled in 4hi?

Because you can use Launch in any of the drive (Except Rock and maybe snow) modes, I assume that Launch mode will still override the parameters set by the other modes, as it is designed to give you the best possible launch, which means it'll makes all of the necessary adjustments (front to rear drive/torque ratio, etc.) Alternatively, does it matter what drive mode you're in order to get the BEST launch?
As far as pedal to the floor goes, I guess there's no advantage to using the paddles if you're already getting redline shifts. (unless you want to hit the rev limiter).

Noted! TY
