Is anyone else rattled we can’t spin our tires with our 702 horses? With out modifying or voiding warranty.

“pulling the fuse” just isn’t that ideal...

I've seen posts saying you have to be in 4HI for it to work and hold the button for like 10 seconds

Not rattled at all- having been in the Trackhawk world for two years now I do not miss tire spin, believe me once you experience the “squat” on an AWD -4WD 700hp + supercharged hemi you won’t mind either

Many (many) moons ago I was at a 1/4 mile event and witnessed a perfect launch from a 1996 Eagle Talon (Mitsubishi Eclipse) AWD. The way the car squatted, gripped and then flew down the strip had me in absolute awe.
Because of that moment, I still have my beloved 1997 Talon Tsi AWD, as well as a Trackhawk and a TRX.
I will forever be a fan of AWD.

I have no problem with people who prefer tire smoke and wheelspin, but tires aren't cheap and I'll be here to tow you out of the ditch when you spin out ;P

I could easily spin the tires when in my Challenger, but why? Instead I do my best to keep them from needlessly spinning since the acceleration would be slower if the tires don't grip well.

So not rattled at all when flooring the TRX and get acceleration instead of tire spin.

Personally, wheel spin ain't my thing "anymore". I got rid of my Challenge Hellcat and Vettes because of too much wheel spin. But, if you feel the need to spin the rear wheels in the TRX, simply try baja mode. You'll get some good rear wheel spin with the ~75 by 25 HP/torque split.

The beauty of the TRX is its point and shoot. Anybody can safely drive the truck. I prefer the AWD setup to be honest.
Much more point and shoot after adding a rear anti sway bar I think.

Ours were a bit sketchy when flooring them from 60 mph or so when passing another vehicle and changing lanes in the process.

You do need to pay close attention when flooring it and switching lanes.

Making me miss my 99 GSX… 800hp out of a 2.0 L was a blast.

The Tazer DT has an option to turn on force RWD. All you do it on through the keypad.

I think we’d all have a little more fun with the option to run RWD occasionally. Only thing Raptor has on Trx for me. Tazer not worth it. “force” doesn’t sit right with me

Why? Unless something in the front end broke, what's the point of not using it?
Just saying the option would be nice to fuck around with. I’m fully ok with the truck always in AWD. Practical

The “force” does also not sit right with me tbh. I’ve used it a few times to drift and do burnouts and so far nothing broke. It makes me feel more prone to break since it isn’t an option is comes with like a raptor.

Drifting in AWD is fully doable, but it may require a bit higher speed. And knowing when to do what with the throttle.

Surely you have seen rally drivers going a bit sideways.
