23 grab handles

My 23 didnt come with them. I mentioned it to my dealer and he files a case with Ram then ordered them. Since they are pictured on the 23 advertisment he felt I should get them regardless of who pays.
It's the little things.

Seems like common sense, but that is also a good dealer for taking care of you with no fuss.

Solid! Did it happen to include a part number? My truck will be here EOM, and I'm looking to hopefully have mine swapped out at dealer as well...

Appreciate it brother! Last question, I know it may vary from dealer to dealer, but since the 23s didn't come with them, how hard was it getting them "approved"? Or did you just order on your own accord and DIY?

I bought my TRX out of state and didn’t mess with them until I got it to Houston. Dealers here are greedy and won’t help unless there is something in it for them so I just bought them myself and installed them . I’m thinking I will have an upholstery shop here add the red stitching to the front 2 and the leather wrap and red stitching to the back 2 and sell to make a little of my money back and help someone else out

Only $75 bucks each. If yoi use a 23 they will come black. I used my dads 21 TRX, gave that to the dealer and they finally came in red.
Im thinking of taking the black stitched to an upholstery shop, have them match the red thread and put them on the rear handles.

Can't you just order by part #? Do you have to use a specific MY or VIN? Never tried it before...

I went to a very small dealer 400 miles away. So small, they didnt even have one Durango Bought a 23 trx 5% below nvoice after my Jailbreak and SS fell thru in 2022. dealer didnt care if Ram covered it or not. Hoping if the Destroyer Grey is built I can grab that. They've really took care of me.

I was meaning if you search for the part by your vin and its a 23 they will come up black.

I just received my order of the 4 panel pillars today. Is this an easy install or should I take it to the dealer? I was assuming it was just going to be the handle, but it's the full panel for each one.

I've only done the fronts so far, waiting on the rears. Front is 2 10mm bolts if memory serves and tug on the handle a little. Top comes out first, be careful at the bottom not to scratch your dash.

Ok cool, so no concern about the proximity to the airbags?

For the rears, someone in another thread (https://www.ram-trx.com/threads/rear-passenger-grab-handle.13220/) said this:
"Was not tough and I managed. If I remember correctly just had to remove a couple pieces on the floor, the lower B Panel and the seatbelt."

I'm still fighting w/ my (forum) dealer to have them do this for me instead of the rear door lights they agreed to. Nothing is easy anymore.

Just take your time on the "tug" part, look at the new ones and you'll see the push clip on the backside, think there's just one.

So are you saying that NO 2023s come with them or just some of them? I ask because mine has them and I picked it up a little over a week ago, so it's a pretty recent build.
