They fixed my 23 with the updated part. AA was the old one that won't reset properly.Anyone have the dealer fix this recently? Does it work? Is there still a long wait for parts? My '23 rarely resets the left turn signal anymore. It's really starting to annoy me.
So my left turn signal failing to reset has gotten much worse recently. It is at around 95% of the time failing to reset. Best I can tell from this thread is that to fix this issue, PN 68545657AB needs to be ordered and installed. Correct?I think that I have had two times where I noticed the left turn signal not resetting but I’m not sure if I just didn’t turn the wheel enough for it to reset or not. I’m watching it more closely now. I’ve got a 2023 with around 6,000 miles and just noticed it within the last 500-1,000 miles or so.
So I took the truck in to get the left turn signal diagnosed. Dropped it off Wednesday at 7:00 am. CompuStar tells me it did not start or move all day Wednesday after I dropped it off. So what is the point of making a Wednesday appointment? Could have dropped it off just as easily on Thursday morning.
They start it up on Thursday and tell me they cannot reproduce the issue but they are ordering parts for me anyway based on issues they have seen for the regular Ram 1500’s. Parts are out 11 days so will have to take it back in later to get this issue addressed.
As a side note, Valet Mode is worthless. Put it in Valet Mode Wednesday before I dropped it off. Picked it up Thursday afternoon and it was not in Valet Mode anymore. Drove it home just fine. Put it back into Valet Mode over night and this afternoon when I started it up, it is freakin out. Truck keeps cycling between Valet Mode and not as I’m driving down the road.
But your plan fails to hold Ram accountable for their failure. This is the reason why I'm content with leaving my turn signal stalk in the auto high beam position. If that doesn't work any more, I'll buy a new switch and install it myself. By the time I account for the wasted time going back and forth to the dealer, I'll be money ahead buying the switch and swapping it out myself. Plus I won't have to worry about joy rides and door dings.

Thx for sharing! I was preppin for a fight bc it seldom malfunctions so dealer prob wouldn’t have covered it. Now I'll just wait & do my recalls in bulk.I took my TRX in for the ABS recall today and they also removed and replaced PN 68545657AB in the steering column. Left turns seem to be resetting now and there is definitely a quieter click when the lever arm resets. I can hear an audible difference for sure.
It looks like they may be admitting this is an issue now:
