2023 - Left Turn Signal Will Not Reset

Thats great that you actually got somewhere while contacting them. I reached out a few times about the issues I am having the don't do anything. They tell me that there is nothing they can do if the part is back ordered. You would think since a few dealers have it they can buy it from them and ship it to my dealer to install. I shouldn't have to buy a part from parts department from another dealer afters buying a 100k truck to have warranty work. How did you get in touch with them if you don't mind me asking.

I called the 800 number and put in a request for buyback and since my problems were never ending, they took it back. I still have the lemon TRX, but just waiting for them to coordinate the surrender date and it will be gone.

Any updates on this issue from anyone that took their truck in and reported the problem?

They were able to get parts with the strike going on?

Yes, I would also like to see the closed repair order with the part number used. I’m just hoping that they are not replacing defective parts with defective parts like they did on my lemon TRX. I am hoping there is a revised part number that fixes the issue. Wishful thinking I guess. I can’t believe a simple thing like this hasn’t been fixed by now. There are quite a few of us complaining about this and how can FCA not know about it by now?

Can you post picture of work order showing the part number?

Thanks!
Here it is. So far so good. A little bit tight it seems, but I might be imagining something.

Wonder if this is a new part, or the same as the one that failed when replaced in the other instance?

Thank you for posting the repair order info with the part number. I have already spoke to the service manager of my local dealer about this. Let’s hope FCA addresses the issue for the rest of us that have this annoying issue.

I reported this to my dealer last week when I took it in for some upgrades and they said there is now a bulletin out on the issue stating that when we are making left hand turns, we aren’t turning the wheel all the way enough to cancel the left signal issue. My other cars are a lot more sensitive and cancel out very easily, but not this truck. They aren’t going to replace any parts if you complain about it, so just an update for all you guys dealing with this same issue. I have set mine in auto high beam so it works and will just have to deal with it. Oh well…

That's really a stupid response. The issue only happens when you are doing a lane change and not when making a left turn. I have no issues with left turns, it just sucks when you make a lane change and it doesn't disengage.

Find another dealer, because the one who gave you that advice is wrong. A full left turn is not required to reset a blinker switch. That is the dumbest thing I've heard in a while.

They are telling me FCA has a new bulletin out on it, so it’s not them. They told me they will order me a new multifunction switch and install it, but it most likely won’t fix the issue.

It has already been confirmed as a fix on this thread by @Snowback.

I can confirm that it didn't fix my issue on my first 2023 TRX. Dealer replaced it and it was just as bad. Didn’t work most of the time when making left turns.

It looks like the part # he reported has already been superseded.
