2023 - Left Turn Signal Will Not Reset

Just saw this, thought i was going crazy i have the same issue on my 23 since i got it with 11 miles on it!

@RamCares

Can you please jump in and comment on this issue:
What is the actual cause of the problem?
How do we fix it?

It would make no sense for each of us to individually take this in to our dealership and have them fuddle with it....

900 miles on my 2023 Bighorn, thought I was going crazy. Left turn not resetting most the time if not making a really sharp turn. Made a service appointment, hopefully they can resolve it without screwing anything else up.

I’m using the auto high beam hack that was posted in this thread, it’s worked perfectly with it. Another member stated that his turn signal starting working after switching back from the auto high beam, I have not yet switched back to confirm.

Yeah, that was me and it was short lived. On the second day it was working maybe 50% of the time. Back to auto high beam.

My 23 as well, tried the high beam forward trick? Worked! All good until I can get to dealer. Ram shame 100 k truck as quality issues. Guess nothing is perfect!

Please let us know what they do to resolve It, so we can tell our local dealers how to tackle the issue. Maybe post a pic of your closed service record so we can see how they storied it out.

I am in the same boat with my 2023. I hear it click but it doesn’t reset. Left side only…and auto highbeam helps indeed but not a fan of that.

That has happened to me too once or twice. However I do have a slight grinding sound in the wheel when I turn the wheel slow like making a k turn or pulling into a parking spot. Has this happen to anyone. Dealer said they will order me a clock spring but they are on back order until January.

Just got mine fixed for this issue. Replaced the clock spring and works as it should now. Two weeks with no issues

My dealer told me yesterday that due to the strike, they are unable to order me a new clock spring.

I'm satisfied running in auto high beam position, I use that position anyway. I think I'll just order the clock springs when the strike is over and install them myself. A small issue like this isn't worth the risk of a trip to the dealership, IMO.
Can you provide the part number, so I can order one too?

After you posted about the clock spring, I reread this entire thread because I thought I read that the clock spring wasn't serviceable. According to @Viperjim it isn't. It looks like were stuck with getting the entire multifunction switch replaced.

I had the multifunction switch replaced on my first 2023 TRX (Lemon) and it didn’t fix the issue. I was under the impression that it’s something internally in the steering column as the dealer replaced the entire turn signal stalk and no improvement at all.

yea my dealer told me that they canceled the order for my clock spring and that they won't be able to place another order for it until January due to the strike. I wonder if they know there is a recall and are coming out with a new model. The reset on the turn signal only happed a few times for me. Its for of like a rubbing, popping sound that happens for me when I'm essentially stopped or a very slow speeds. I mainly notice it when I'm parking or backing into a spot.
