I have had my truck for just over a month and about 900 miles on it so far. Has anyone else had an issue where the signal stick on the column will not reset all the time, and sometimes gets hung if doing the quick 3 flash press? For me it is when I activate the left signal. If making a turn sometimes it kicks off on its own, and others not. And if bumping to change lanes on the highway I've noticed it getting caught and staying on but not all the way engaged. When you turn the wheel back to straighten up, it almost sounds as if a piece of plastic is getting caught when it does reset because it snaps loudly, and the right signal doesn't do that. And before anyone asks, yes I am pretty sure it is topped off on blinker fluid 🤣 I guess I could just drive like the rest of Charlotte and just not use my signals lol. Figure I'll ask the dealer to check it out when I take it in for an oil change here shortly, just curious if anyone else has had that happen.

Almost exact same issue noticed at 400 miles on my 2023, (save for no grinding sound). Left "bump to change lanes" gets stuck and needs to be manually reset. Slightly Annoying... Will be taking it to dealer as well.

Here is a FB thread on the matter. Is this you? ;)

Ha no that's not me but I'll add my name to it. I wonder what they changed that could be causing this, weird that several people are noticing it.

Only thing that’s really changed is the digital dash in that area, I wonder if some new bunch of wires is messing with the movement somehow.

That or I wonder if they sourced different parts for the guts inside the column maybe, and something didn't get deburred or fitted properly.

I'm having the same problem as well on my 2023. About 50% of the time the left signal will cancel on its own when making a turn and the rest of the time I'll hear a click but the signal will still be on, and I'll have to manually lift the stalk to turn it off. I've found though on mine if you move the stalk back to engage the auto high beam setting and use the left turn signal it works like it should 100% of the time but as soon as I disengage the auto high beams, I start having issues again. Definitely appears to be something faulty with these turn signal stalks.

I will try the auto high beam thing you're mentioning when I get back from my trip, that is interesting.

Have the dealer check out the clock spring in the column. The stalk is a seperate piece to the clockspring and can be changed out if in fact it’s catching on the plastic housing or return spring not strong enough to center.

I had this exact issue and just got it fixed this week at the dealer. 2023 TRX that I got in June. Take it to dealer, they fixed it in about a hour.

What did the dealer do to fix the issue? Just got multifunction switch and clock spring replaced. Issue still happening.

That's what they replaced for me and the issue was resolved.

This may work but have you tried cycling it back and forth to distribute the grease inside the clock spring? May or may not work.

I have 1200 miles on my 2023 and same problem. I’ve noticed it about a dozen times. It happened twice on the way home from work today. I was wondering what the hell is going on? Figured it was just mine that was malfunctioning. I do like that it starts alarming if you keep driving with the blinker inadvertently on.

I've tried that. No luck. Maybe bad batch of multi function switches/clock spring. Been driving with the stalk in auto high in mean time

So you’re saying if you have the stalk in high beam mode it won’t stick as if it’s not.
I’ll try and look at a clock spring today
