2022 Level 2 TRX... To sell or part out to trade in?

I recently looked on to getting a 24 and trade my 22. 22 fully loaded lvl 2 is trade in is between 70k and 80k. Like you Lots of upgrades. Which they will say have no value. They expect it to have a bumper side steps etc. Tire rack in bed lowrs value on a truck with almost no bed space to start. So my best offer with only 8k miles was 77k. You won't even get in the 80k mark at all. You have to ask yourself is it worth it to you. 40k to go from a 22 to a 24 was no fn way. I'll probably get buried in mine at this point. I did however only pay msrp no markup. Just my experience trying to trade mine in... good luck for 90k...

Just picked up a 22 lvl 2 truck and looking to upgrade a few parts, if you do part out I love that bumper!

Side note relates to trade in value, out here (northern NV) the market seems pretty soft on these. The dealer took mine it on trade (they sold it new and it has 40k miles) for 78 when the guy bought a new Hummer EV. I ended up getting it for 72k after they sat on it for a couple months.

If you don't have to do not sell right now dealers are in trouble you will get hosed. Private sale is only way you will get any mod investment back. Dealer will tell you it's a downside on the trade then mark it up on the lot for the mods. Had one tell me on a car all we could do is scrap. We won't sell this car here and in the next few days was on their lot for 11k. I was told it was getting crushed short of it they fucking lie to short you. If you are set on selling it, private sale is likely your best option. Good luck!

Poor guy who bought that Hummer EV......little does he know in 1-2 years it will have lost 45% - 55% of its value.

The sales gal was telling me 6 months ago they were getting 50k over on the new Hummer, now they are 10k off. So your guess likely not far off.

If murf got 92,400 for his with 35,500 miles. List it and see what happens. Nice build. The right buyer might like the mods 🤔

Sharp truck, I'd consider the trade-in implications to your taxes saved on your next purchase. With tax and less hassle, trade-in might be the way to go. Probably worth removing some of your aftermarket items.
California doesn’t reduce the taxes owed when trading in a vehicle (shocking I’m sure)

Well- if we’re throwing potential dibs on parted out items, I’d think real hard about the following:

-Bullet Proof Diesel Third Brake Light Dual Antenna Mount with Baja Designs Amber Rock Lights

Private party or part it out before trade. Serious question....that truck looks great. Why are you getting rid of it?

To give you a perspective I'm in Utah and I too have a 2022 trx level 2 with tech and moon roof, adjustable cruse, bed liner, tunnel cover that has 11,000 miles and only upgrade is a cold air intake and the highest I could get a dealer to offer is 78,000. Truck is supper clean no dents or damage. The value on these trucks is in the tank right now.

Better said, automobile depreciation has returned to normal.
Considering most 22's were purchased with significant discounts from the high volume dealers. For instance I paid $88K for mine (LV 2, no roof, no carbon, all other options) with a slight discount. Here we are 2.5 years later and if the value is now $78K trade in, $10K depreciation is about right.

Most dealerships don't understand the value that a tunnel cover brings to the equation. Imagine if your tunnel wasn't covered and someone fell into your tunnel?

Im looking to sell my White 2022 Level 2 TRX with 15,000 miles.
My dilemma is I have so many parts invested in it that it almost seems like a hassle to remove everything and trade in.

My question to everyone is, should I try to private sell as is or part it out to trade in?
Would any of you be interested in it?

As Is I would like to get $95,000 (you guys can tell me if this sounds fair)

List of parts I have added:
-IGLA & Compustar
-Mopar Power Steps
-Method Triple Black Wheels
-Bfgoodrich KM3 37x13.5 18r Tires (5,000 miles on them)
-Eibach Pro Lift Springs
-Borla Full Exhaust With Black Tips
-Robby Woods Front Bumper
-Baja Designs LP4s White Combo on Pilars with Covers
-2 Baja Designs LP4s White Spots on Bumper
-2 Baja Designs LP4s White Combo on Bumper
-2 Baja Designs Squadron Pro Amber Combo on Bumper
-2 Baja Designs S2 Pro Amber Combo on Bumper
-S&B Cold Air Intake
-Bullet Proof Diesel Third Brake Light Dual Antenna Mount with Baja Designs Amber Rock Lights
-Evil Manufacturing Dual Vertical Tire Carrier
-2 Brand new Spare Bfgoodrich KM3 Tires with Method Triple Black Wheels

I know I setup the truck to be an Offroad truck but I have only took it out once and have never abused it or used it to its full potential. I babied this truck so much, that to this date it has no major visible scratch or dent.

There, fixed it for you.
I think you should definitely part out. And ill take those tires!!!! 🛞

Price is pretty fair. Market is slow tho, so I would sit on it and see. Try and go to some of the high end custom car dealers nearby if there are any and see what they'd give you for it.

Dang, I’m late to this party. Most dealerships also don’t understand the value of a truck that’s so clean, you can eat your dinner off of it.

Truck is supper clean no dents or damage.
