Found this a bit interesting. Ram had a Rebel concept truck that went to SEMA in 2018 with a lot of goodies that eventually made it on to the TRX. Rambar, Tire Carrier, Lift to fit 35's, Beadlock wheels, and Mopar rails make this Rebel look very similar to the TRX minus the fender flairs.

Often times the manufacturers use SEMA to show new features that will end up on another vehicle to gauge people's reaction

Think thats the best shot I’ve seen of the tire carrier from the bed, thanks! Actually it looks higher than what will come on the truck, they probably modified that so it’s doesn’t impair vision.

Here’s the question?? Will a tonnaue cover fit the new TRX with the tire carrie w tire? I don’t know just asking.

No, when you spec the truck the configurator doesn‘t allow both a cover & the tire carrier.

Just found this, so they did change the carrier, tilted the angle & where it mounts to the bed is different.

as one that got the rambar i'm kinda salty bout that!

Hey don't feel bad. I would have added it if I was sure it would fit in my garage... that's really the ONLY reason I didn't get it added at the factory. Curious to see what my dealer's pricing is for the Rambar if I do order after the truck arrives (still $1800 or $900).

Yeah I think I’m going to swap out for these.... when I ordered 360 camera it said no trailer -tow mirror in configuration.
It looks like you pop out the camera from your old mirror and put them in the tow mirror.

I found the OEM running boards at BAMwholesale for $835 + shipping. Totaled $1018. Far cry from $1800 from factory. They are an authorized mopar wholesaler. They verified with RAM that the ones I ordered will fit the TRX.

From the factory - $1195

I got mine at my dealer this week for $955 + tax... came to $1033. Factory installed is actually $1195, but still saved $160 since they weren’t originally added by my dealer at order.

I was wondering if they made a mistake w/ the Mopar advertisement because the pricing is switched from factory to catalog with the rock rails & running boards.

Catalog:
Off-road rock rails (82216078AB | $1,195 USD | $1,845 CAD): Engineered to meet stringent protection, loading, and durability requirements both on-road and off-road, the aluminum rock rail sections are attached using high-strength steel brackets. A black-powder coating provides corrosion protection and seamlessly blends with the vehicle aesthetics, allowing for easy entry and exit on the integrated step pads.

Off-road running boards (82215508AC | $995 USD | $1,185 CAD): Constructed of lightweight cast aluminum with a rugged spray-in bed liner and an anti-slip texture coating, exact-matched running boards fit tightly to the vehicle with no drilling necessary.
