Question for anyone who knows if the recall on new CAT converters Dodge wants dealers to replace will mess with performance at all I haven't took my 2016 Hellcat in for the recall yet after 3 notices not sure I want to if affect the performance at all

You could always put in sport cats. I forget the company name but believe they are german. Or just pull the cats

Thanks ill check into that
On pcars lots of people run the 200 cell’s

i normally just pull them. There are setups where you can swap between cats and test pipes

I didn't do it on mine as I was concerned about the same thing. Mine is a 2015 with just 7000 miles so I figured I have awhile yet before I have to worry about the cats deteriorating.

I figured it was just a California thing and would screw with the performance don't know what Dodge does if a guy doesn't get it done

Nope, not just a California thing. Everyone I know received the recall notice. The thing i didn't like is that they reflash the PCM. That's why I didn't do it. My dealer called me to try to schedule it in and I told them I didn't feel comfortable having my PCM reflashed and they didn't seem to care that I declined. Not sure if anything happens if you don't do it. Guess I will have to wait and see.
