No issues on our Rex or the last 3 vehicles we've had Bora spacers on. Forget they're even on thereFor those with the Bora spacers installed. Any updates on how it’s been?

Looks good! And I certainly don’t think there’s any problem trimming the heat shield as most of our heat shield has been removed by mud and water lolSo finally installed the 1.25 spacers and had to do some trimming too. (I have the Eibach pro so 2.7 from and 1.5 rear) looks perfect IMO and the driving is much improved laterally, a lot less body roll. I think after doing 37’s and the lift it felt more roll than stock for sure so this brought it right back to OEM maybe even better.
At first it was just the drive side only rear portion but add full left lock reverse the driver side front rubs. I haven’t trimmed that yet will see.
Question is, any issues with trimming some part with the heat shield? I might have got a little to happy with it to try to smooth the look/angle.
I didn’t have to grind the factory studs either. I have he OEM beadlocks and there is enough room in the pockets on the rear.Looks really good. I probably like your “offset” better than my 1.375” spacers but I didn’t have to grind the factory studs and I have very minimal rubbing.
Yours is how the wheels should sit from the factory.
So you ran 1.25" spacers and didnt have to shave the studs down?I didn’t have to grind the factory studs either. I have he OEM beadlocks and there is enough room in the pockets on the rear.
Yeah I agree! I hate having to trim but it’s not that big of a deal.
I have 1.25" Boras on mine and didn't have to trim. Not a very good pic but...So you ran 1.25" spacers and didnt have to shave the studs down?
Yeah no shaving of the studs. So you ran 1.25" spacers and didnt have to shave the studs down?
nope. My guess is that's attributable to the road or tire wear.Anyone notice more tracking after the spacers? I have 13.5 tires but I have for awhile but I noticed the tracking and “drifting” more on some roads
Must be my great NC roads by me. I’ll have them check my alignment but I think it’s the roads then. Guess the added track on the same roads has made it do this. I only have about 10k on these new tires so I don’t think it could be thatnope. My guess is that's attributable to the road or tire wear.
yea 10k isnt much unless ur burning rubber everywhere and/or running em at 12psi lol. I assume you rotated them at least once by now right?Must be my great NC roads by me. Do you have any pics of the side views with the 1.5's on the back, coupled with the 1.25's up front? @Damnjoel's look great with the 1.25's all the way around and I'm curious what that extra quarter inch in the rear does to the overall profile. Thx!I finally installed my Bora spacers, 1.25" front and 1.5" rear. Though I was prepared to grind a little off the non-threaded tip of the front wheel studs, there was Absolutely zero issues with wheel stud contact in the front, there is plenty of clearance, and much more in the rears. Zero interference issues with the front mud flaps either. This is exactly the look I wanted...
good luck
.
Correct me if I'm wrong @Damnjoel, but aren't yours the 1.25" Bora's all the way, or did you step up to 1.375"? Your truck looks great, and I bet the ride is largely the same. I suppose an alignment is needed as there is a bit more leverage on the front end with that wider offset from the spacers?Looks really good. I probably like your “offset” better than my 1.375” spacers but I didn’t have to grind the factory studs and I have very minimal rubbing.

That's a great view there showing the front/rear OEM setup with 1.25" spacers. Rear looks just as great as the front from that angle. I guess there could be a bit of additional road spray off the front tires that would contact the rear fenders though. Do they make a 1" version? Thank you for sharing your experience. Very nice!Mine are 1.25" spacers all the way around. Some viewpoints on my truck I feel like they poke just a touch too much and wish the spacers were 1" instead of 1.25". Then other times, it looks good as is. The truck just needs a wheel just ever so slightly wider to look killer and factory. 1.50 would be too much IMHO but everyone is different. I'm building a high-hp engine at LME in Houston, Tx and might end up going with a lighter wheel combo than the factory beadlocks. We will see.

Bora does make narrower versions, including 1", spacers but I believe you will have to grind down your factory studs just alittle bit inorder to mount your wheel. I belive the 1.25" spacers only clear the factory wheel studs due to the pockets on the OEM wheels. 1.25" spacers wouldnt clear aftermarket wheels without grinding down studs. That's a great view there showing the front/rear OEM setup with 1.25" spacers. Gotcha... I get it. Thank you. Found this other thread where @NoKTurNal used some 2" spacers that appear to stick out a bit more at this link: 2" Spacers picsBora does make narrower versions, including 1", spacers but I believe you will have to grind down your factory studs just alittle bit inorder to mount your wheel.
