Any thoughts on adding 2” bora spacers for a wider stance on stock wheels and tires ?

I am curious for why both of you said no. Is it because the wheels will stick out too far and look bad or because that is just too big of a spacer to add to such a heavy beastly truck? Is it the looks or the function?

I am asking because I have been looking at rims and one of the rims are wide but have a very high offset. I was thinking of adding Bora spacers to get back to the +19 offset to look similar to stock.

I just wanted the spacers to give it a flush look and better stance than stock. Can’t afford wheels and tires yet.

Soulsea on here put a set on his truck and it looked sharp. I don’t know what size he used, but you might be able to find it with a search.

I have -18 offset wheels that have a great wide stance, and I love it. But the reason I personally would not do 2” spacers is for safety reasons only.

Here is some info. He used 1.5” spacers which looked great, I think he later changed his wheels to a -18 offset with no spacers, too many threads on the post for me to confirm.

Do you know if he had to trim his OEM studs? I've always had to run 2-2.5" spacers on my last vehicles b/c that was the minimum width i could run w/out trimming my studs

I saw on a FB TRX forum where a guy was running 1.5 inch and stated there was no need to trim the stock wheel studs. Another was running 2 inch and also no stud trimming needed. If you do run spacers make sure they are BORA hubcentric and not an Ebay knock off.

I've only run Bora on 3-4 prior vehicles. Goign to pull the trigger on 1.5s because i dont need a lot more stance to get what im looking for + hoping they dont reduce wheel stuffing ability. Will report back if they do!

Looking forward to hearing about it!

Following this. I love the stock beadlocks too much to get new wheels with a better offset. I emailed Bora and he stated that they are off-roading rated and the truck would break in half before the spacer breaks lol.

We need someone to jump it with Bora spacers for us lol

Can’t say I blame you. Those stock beadlocks are some of the best looking wheels for this truck. Regarding BORA spacers, I’ve never heard of anyone having an issue with them. The cheap imitation versions however are just asking for trouble.

Yeah if I have to go aftermarket I’ve been looking and these are the 2 closest looking to stock that I could find. But center bore isn’t stock size like more aftermarket wheels.

I have a new set of bora spacers that I bought just to check fitment for a set of custom wheels before I ordered. The 2 inch spacers put the tread even with the fender flares, looked very nice. I would take 175.00 plus shipping. DM me if you are interested.

I’ve never heard of that wheel company but they are good looking wheels.

1.5” is the minimum without trimming studs. Studs are flush with top of spacer at 1.5”.
