Why not? Better acceleration and stopping, better handling, slightly better mileage due to less overall height. On the other hand, even higher rpms at a given speed, which would probably nullify any mileage gains.

I suppose it depends on how sensitive a person is. In theory, going from a 35 to a 37 inch tire (everything else remaining equal) you'd have nearly a 6% loss in performance (gearing).

It's all simple physics, really. You will effectively get taller gearing (less performance), and the brakes will also see more strain. In general, unsprung and rotating mass is the worst kind on a vehicle, but you seem to already be taking this weight into consideration, which is good.

And here I thought the whole point of fog lights is that they are aimed below horizontal, just like low beams except mounted lower so they help in fog. Maybe there's a reason why those M&R lights are only for off road use? They probably aren't real fog lights.

Correctly aimed fog lights shouldn't blind anybody.

Well, today I succeeded. Have to love that it sets the parking brake when opening the door while in Reverse. Oh well, locked wheels or not, a more capable vehicle pulled the too low and too light little pickup out.

Looks to me like it's really only a matter of welding the little tab back in place, adjust the cam to match the other side, and tighten the bolt. Although, there could be more damage, I suppose. If so, I'd still fix it myself if at all possible.

And that's the part I don't get. Cab marker lights should be on the cab, in normal fashion. All five of them. Not that I mind that the ones on the TRX are far more discreet, unlike the ones on my Ram 3500. And one of these days I'll get around to disconnect the hood ones.
