Did you just tape the letters off or did you buy a new set and have them painted then put them in?

I havent had good luck with taping off and trying to have it look professional.. Id rather buy new ones from the dealer and have them painted then put in so its clean. How much did you pay for the RAM if you did that route?

Sorry, that's not my truck, its forum user soulsea's truck.

I inquired about, if the exterior RAM trim letters can be removed without breaking tabs or are they just pressed in with adhesive? The only way to get that factory clean look, is to remove or replace and paint to correct color code.

But it shows how easy it is to get rid of the lighter colored skid plate and paint RAM letters matte black, to get that ultra clean look, minimize the RAM grille emblem color and every thing match.
