My truck is a Launch Edition - vin 104 - was built on 1/22.
It was supposed to ship on 1/24.
No Window Sticker
Dealer checked today and said it is in "JB Storage which means they are waiting on a part"
Has anyone heard of a "Built" truck which is waiting on a part?
Seems like there are several LE's on the TRX Registry that are built with no window sticker - any insight from others or on what parts they might be waiting on post build?

I surely hope not but guess it could be possible. A salesman where I purchased mine tried telling me that even though mine was built (1/26/21 exactly) that it could be awhile before I see it as he claims they are out of carbon fiber. Whether this is true or not, I have no idea. I have learned to take everything with a grain of salt as there is so much misleading information out there.

Here's the bad news...... It can be trapped there for weeks on end if you do a search online. People talk about months trapped in the JB Abyss. I'm not just saying this because of your alma mater.... Well, maybe. J/K

Good luck. I'm at JB also. ;)

forgive me if I'm not asking this in the correct thread or if it is considered ridiculous but how are you guys getting your build status code? dealer is ignorant and chat won't give it.

My '19 Hellcat spent another 6 weeks, after being built, waiting on the vendor to add the satin paint graphics package. Unfortunately, it's not always FCA that we're waiting on.😒

one code in TRX Registry and dealer gave me code today when he looked up my truck

Ohhhh,....... You haven't met The Godfather yet? He'll be along shortly. :ROFLMAO:

As long as you have your VON or VIN the dealer should be able to give you your status code. I typically get mine from the GSM(General Sales Manager) or the GM

my dealer is less than helpful and I used a broker to find an allocation. thanks though

I have an LE which went into D1 a few weeks ago...dealer said build date of 1/24 but I haven’t seen anything pop up here. He just sent this to me today:

“Good morning, your truck status just updated and it skipped E which is framing and went straight to F which is paint. Estimate ship date of 2/1.”

Build sheet typically shows up the day after the truck moves through paint/frame, etc. Which will be Monday in this case.

*EDIT to add* This is based on the all of January not having any build sheets show up over the weekend because the plant is not in full production on Saturday and Sunday.

It is a different manufacturer in a different industry building slightly bigger and my expensive vehicles, but yes. I have heard of vehicles parked in the out lots as they were waiting on parts.
I few years ago CaseIH was building their combines but didn't have enough Hydraulic Pumps on hand. For those that don't know you need a hydraulic pump to move the machine. Well, they would build each machine, drive it out to a parking lot, and take the existing hydraulic pump off the machine to be used to get the next combine out of the plant and into the parking lot. In the end a single hydraulic pump was installed and used on multiple brand new machines in order to continue production. I don't know how many Hydraulic Pumps where used in the manufacturing rotation, but the parking lots were full of machines without a Hydraulic pump installed.
Sorry, I am not much help. As for me I am hoping to see the Window Sticker on day 8 since build sheet. After that I will probably do more data mining on the daily posts.

And yes, if anyone wants to buy me one of these brand new they can have my TRX and I will give them an extra $100,000.

I thought JB code was related to vendor accessories. Considering the time it has typically taken from build sheet to window sticker, I'd think its just getting MOPAR accessories at this point still. Or maybe waiting for more RAM bars or steps to come in.

Hasn't it typically been 8 to 10 days from build sheet to window sticker? @tripleB

The ship dates are also estimates and have been more like estimated build dates. My truck was ship date of the 24th as well and build sheet showed up on Monday. My dealer told me I was in "JB" status yesterday, which they said was "Shipped to body vendor".

I work at an assembly plant and that is definitely a thing. You can build a vehicle but not have bumpers. We will build them and set them out in the lot. Then, once we have the bumper, we pull them back in and install it. There are a number of parts that you can build a vehicle without and install them later. Due to all the parts shortages, I’m not surprised.

I posted in another thread but there are hidden codes your dealer can't see. If you have been "JB" for awhile, it just means your truck is sitting on a lot and not in the plant. And if your sitting on the lot it is because...

I’m in same boat. Jumped on a LE build that was almost complete because of prior order in BG hell for 5 months. Estimated ship date of the LE was 1/24 as well. Now in limbo
