Just FYI...
Called my dealer (NW Ohio) today to see if they got any new info since the TRX builds seem to be picking up. Ordered 9/7, completely loaded Black Level 2, no bed tire VIN 171XXX. He called back and said RAM Rep told him my build was schedule for 3/7 & I could expect delivery in MAY. I certainly hope it's not wait 6 months for the build and another almost 3 for delivery. I've been on the forum for a few months and I've seen the average delivery from MI. is about 8-9 days once completed. Are there any metrics on if the build date stay around 3/7 how long does the build process take before getting to transportation?

Dealer is price protecting POC ($92,435), current MSRP $99,365.

I reached out to the dealer last Friday told me it left the plant last Thursday on route to alliance in ft worth the delivery yard.

Thanks tripleB for all your help and work on this. I am new to forum. Just ordered on 1/8. Got VIN today with D status and I have added it via the tracker (NN270564). Looking forward to tracking. We ordered a Wagoneer the same day so will be interested to see how they both progress. Can’t wait!!

Maybe he just unintentionally was off by a month or is a little CYA on his part so you aren't disappointed if it takes longer than he estimated.

Unfortunately not, a VIN is required.

How do I get my VIN?
Best source for your VIN is your dealer, typically within 3-4 days of your order being submitted and accepted you will have a VIN assigned (Status D). You can ask your dealer for a current copy of your Priced Order Confirmation (POC) which will include all available details of your order.

How do I find my current status?
You can check with your dealer, your status is also listed in the top right of your POC, or you can check with RamChat (link)
RamChat can be somewhat cryptic so based on their response you can infer your status if you have anything similar to the following.

• D - ...scheduling phase of the manufacturing process...parts require to build the vehicle are being scheduled...
• D1 - ...all the required materials for your order have been gathered and the plant has sequenced your order for production...

Everyone was asking for filtering so I turned it back in but if it’s on this ends up happening. It’s just filtered. Clear the filter and you will see all entires

When I see they are "getting parts together", I picture someone searching through junk yards looking for some elusive parts. I'd think they'd have an automated system that tells them exactly all the parts in inventory...

Good afternoon, I received a call from my dealer today saying that my TRX has a scheduled ship date 1/29/22. Does this mean that it is now in D1 status? I would have thought that I now would have seen a build sheet on the daily report, or does this mean that since the ship date is the end of the month, that the build date and sheet will not come out until a few days before that. I appreciate any information that anyone can supply. Ordered 11/29, VIN 11/30. Thanks!

The "estimated ship date" is the date that your truck is expected to ship out of the factory (and probably over to the body vendor). So with an EST of 1/29, you should expect to see a build sheet on 1/31 (which is the next business day).
