First TRX in Virginia

Well, she showed up a week and a half earlier than expected, and dang is it nice. The diamond black looks incredible in the sun, and the running lights make it look super mean in the dark. I was the second order at my dealership back in August (the first was for a Launch Edition), but the first TRX they had ever seen in person. This break in period is brutal, but just getting a taste of the performance is intoxicating. The tow mirrors are perfect and fit the truck really well.

For those who have one still on order, IT'S WORTH THE WAIT!!

(My old truck is parked behind my new one in the dealership picture, and as I pulled away, I literally watched it disappear in the rear view. Could not have been a more symbolic send off for a transition from the old generation to the new. I went back and picked it up last night, so now they're tucked in to the driveway next to each other.)

And this may have been addressed already, but the tow mirrors DO have cameras in them. The surround view camera system makes backing into tight spots a dream, but dang this thing has some wide hips! I thought my old truck was bad, but the TRX is a bit like driving a dually (front and rear). Nothing beats those curves though!

They also have cool spotlights in them that I have discovered by accident.. Hit the cargo light and you will see them.. Bright as heck..

I ended up buying from Farrish of Fairfax. I live in Fairfax Station, so it was only 15 min from my house.

Did yours get trucked in or rail if you know? Dealer says coming via truck, the carrier is MTUP, but it's currently setting at the Nitro Creek Holding yard in Toledo. Did yours go there first? Trying to plan my days off to get down there for the wife etc. He says the delivery date moved up now expected 2-1 to 2-15. Seems like a big window, but he thinks it will get there sooner. It's only 8 hrs to Staunton from Toledo so hoping he's right and it gets there sooner! My dealer is so cool, he's trying to track its every move, just curious if you know much about how yours went.

I'm not sure how it came to the dealership from SHAP, as my dealer was very sparse with contact aside from the excited picture text, "It's here!"
